Happiness comes from solving problems

To be happy we need something to solve. Problems never stop; they merely get changed and/or upgraded. Happiness comes from solving problems. The keyword here is "solving." If you're avoiding your problems or feel like you don't have any problems, then you're going to make yourself miserable. if you feel like you have problems that you can't solve, you will likewise make yourself miserable. the secret sauce is in the solving of the problems, not in not having problems in the first place. Happiness is a constant work in progress because solving problems is a constant work in progress--the solutions to today's problems will lay the foundation for tomorrow's problems, and so on. True happiness occurs only when you find the problems you enjoy having and enjoy solving. Denial. Some people deny that their problems exist in the first place. and because they deny reality, they must constantly delude or distract themselves from reality. this may make them ...

The Dangers of Pure Certainty

And it's these moments of insecurity, of deep despair that we become susceptible to an insidious entitlement believing that we deserve to cheat a little to get our way, that other people deserve to be punished, that we deserve to take what we want, and sometimes violently. It's the backward law again: the more you try to be certain about something, the more uncertain and insecure you will feel. But the converse is true as well: the more you embrace being uncertain and not knowing, the more comfortable you will feel in knowing what you don't know. Uncertainty is the root of all progress and all growth. As the old adage goes, the man who believes he knows everything learns nothing. We can not learn anything without first not knowing something. The more we admit we do not know, the more opportunities we gain to learn .

Secret of life

* without incentive, there's no motivation. without motivation, there's no advancement. * Making individual choices isn't easy. the important ones take work. But once you realize it, everything turns out all right. And that's when you discover who you are.

Friendship, Growth and Feelings

We form a friendship before we even know what friendship means. we just know "Hey, I like this person."  We grow before we even know what growth means. we just know, "I see things differently now." And finally, we feel. And you know what we know from feelings?"Nothing." We just feel. Its how we know we're alive. But you have to be careful with feelings. " They can tear apart friendship and growth" It doesn't get easier. That's why you have to stick close to the people you love so they can put you back together again.

Thats who you are

We're all unique collection of atoms, and there's only one of each of us. The only label you should wear is your name. Let your actions define you. Because there's another spectrum. How you live your life, what you do with whatever you're given. How you treat other people around you. These are your actions. This is your name. That's who you are.

Stop Worrying, start living

We need to stop worrying about things in our life that we have no control over. Once we start doing that, we’re on the right track.

We all have flaws

I have flaws. You have flaws. We all have flaws. Nobody’s perfect. I’d love to say that people won’t put you down, but sadly I can’t. It’s not going to change for a long time, but what we can do is learn that these ‘flaws’ we have make us unique and we should be proud of them.

Maturation

“We grow before we even know what growth means. We just know, I see things differently now.”

About life

“It doesn't get any easier. You have to stay close to the people you trust so they can put you back together again.”

Live the moment

don't lose sight of who you are. don't pile tragedy over tragedy. how about trying to live in the moment for once, being grateful for the simple pleasures. you dont need to know why you feel good. just enjoy the ride.

Life hack

The grades and crap don't matter in the long run. You gotta start sucking the marrow out of life

How to excel in life

The best way to predict the future is to create it. There are no hand-outs in life. There are no free rides. You got to make things happen for yourself. And when opportunity knocks, You can keep sitting on your futon or you can answer the door.

Don't hide your true self

Hiding your true self from the entire world gets old fast. so, Thank God for having someone who's seen your true self and seems to be okay with the secret you.
